Teaching Kindergarteners can be tough. They are just learning the disciplines of a classroom.
But one teacher makes learning fun and exciting for her students.
Lori Dellanini our educator of the week.
On any given day in her classroom you'll find a room full of Kindergarteners ready to learn...
"Its fun its exciting the kids are awesome its what i love its what i do" said Dellanini.
Teaching kids at this age is no small task, and Mrs. Dellanini has been doing it for 25 years now.
"I tell people its crazy its non stop almost like being on a stage watching them learn is what makes it exciting," she said.
Her colleagues say there is no one more deserving of being honored for her work.
She's been not only an example, but a friend to those around her.
"She plans... she's there the kids warm up to her very fast, she's wonderful," said Karen Steed a fellow teacher.
As the children's first teacher, Mrs. Dellanini knows she must be constantly thinking of ways to make the days fun and exciting, and above all make the time they spend here count.
