A suspect is behind bars after he tried to run from Fresno Police and onto the Mclane High School campus.
Officers were patrolling near Mclane High School when they tried to talk to a man who was riding a bike on the sidewalk.
The man jumped off the bike and ran onto the campus.
"Just prior to running the 31-year-old male abandoned his property and officers were able to go back and found his I-D and were able to identify him as being a subject who is wanted for two felony drug warrants," said Sgt. Brian Valles, Fresno Police Department.
The suspect is identified as Devin La France.
The CHP helicopter helped officers find him.
He was captured by a police k-9 and taken to the hospital for treatment of the dog bite.
