Two people were taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Clovis.
The crash happened on Peach between Ashlan and Gettysburg just after 8a.m.
An officer spotted a man and a woman riding the motorcycle without helmets.
According to police the driver refused to pull over.
He ended up in a short chase with police, with speeds reaching up to 60 miles per hour.
It all came to a stop when they collided with a truck.
The driver of that vehicle fled from the scene but later turned himself in.
It turns out he doesn't have a license.
"The motorcyclist collided with a vehicle Southbound on Peach Ave. Both the motorcycle rider and driver were ejected from the motorcycle and sustained injuries," said Sgt. Jim Koch, Clovis Police Department.
The motorcycle rider is identified as 46-year-old Richard Cooper of Fresno.
Police say Cooper was armed with a loaded handgun and a knife.
He's facing multiple charges.
He and his passenger were both treated for minor injuries.
