Candidates for Fresno County Supervisor voiced where they stand on issues during a forum at Fresno City College on Saturday.
The district one and district four spots are up for grabs.
There are currently eight candidates running.
They met today at a forum with voters listening in.
Organizers say they want someone who believes healthcare is a priority.
They also support drug treatment and mental health programs to cut down on the inmate population.
This event is designed as break from the negativity that often takes place in campaigning.
"This is an opportunity to see what their positions are on the issues that are very important. How are they going to get good wage jobs for folks here in Fresno," Pam Whalen, ACLU.
She also says improving safety in the community is a big issue.
Election day is June 3rd.
