One man is in the hospital after a shooting in the area of Dorothy and Bardell in Fresno.
It happened around 7:30 Friday evening.
Police received a call of a shooting victim but when they arrived at the scene all they found were bullet casings.
"What officers found over there, they found some bullet slugs in the street, so it looks like there was a shooting there. It's possibly it's a running gun battle, we're still trying to confirm that," said Lt. Joe Gomez, Fresno Police Department.
The victim later showed up at a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body.
He told officers he was shot while getting into his Porsche.
Police say the victim is a 31 year-old man and a self-admitted Dogpound gang member.
He went into surgery for non-life-threatening injuries.
