A big day for the Discovery Center in Fresno. They held their official grand opening Saturday.
The center was closed for 13 years.
Organizers have worked to bring in new exhibits and refurbish the facility.
The facility offers lessons in ocean life, electricity, rocks, reptiles and space.
"It's not a museum in the traditional sense where they walk around and stay quiet with their hands around their back. As you can see everything is to be touched, more like a science arcade than a science museum," Mary Ellen Wright, Executive Director of the Discovery Center said.
The Discovery Center is located at Mckinley and Winery in Central Fresno.
