Twenty-one people are without a home today after a fire ripped through an apartment complex in Fresno.
The 2-alarm fire started around 10:30 Friday night on Vassar near Clinton and Blackstone.
Close to forty firefighters were on scene.
No one was hurt in the fire.
Firefighters say neighbors are to thank for everyone getting out safely.
"In this case everyone got out rapidly, neighbors were helping neighborswhich we love to hear about," Casey Clark of the Fresno Fire Department said.
The Red Cross was sent out to assist residents of the complex.
The cost of damages is still not known at this time.
