The community of Los Banos is mourning the loss of 10-year-old Jayden Thomas, killed in a DUI crash over the weekend.
Jayden was killed when his family's car was struck by 20-year-old Justin Nappi, who is accused of driving drunk.
The community has come together to remember the young boy and help family and friends cope with the loss.
People dropped off balloons and candles at a roadside memorial near the site of the accident.
Nappi remains behind bars for aggressive vehicular manslaughter, and DUI.
Counselors are on campus at Volta Elementary to help those grieving with the loss of their classmate.
Several parents in the community will be holding a bake sale on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. on Pacheco Blvd. to raise money for Jayden's family.
