Some buildings were evacuated during a morning bomb scare at a Clovis high school.
A call came in around 7:30 a.m. about a suspicious device at Buchanan High School.
Officers were sent to the school and saw a piece of PVC pipe that was capped at both ends.
Emergency crews weren't taking any chances and treated it as a potential destructive device and evacuated nearby buildings.
It turned out to be a piece of exercise equipment that had mistakenly been left out.
Students were allowed to return to class.
