Fresno police arrested 24-year old Lisa Alarcon on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say a call came in around 4:30 a.m. to report the wanted suspect was inside a home near Inyo and A Street near Ventura and Highway 99 in Fresno.
Police set up a perimeter around the house and within a few hours they made contact with the suspect.
At one point officers had guns drawn and K-9 Units ready to spring into action but Alarcon eventually surrendered.
Police say she tried to kill her parents over the weekend. "This is an assault with a deadly weapon incident that occurred a few days ago where she fired a firearm allegedly at a house striking some people inside," said Sgt. Glen Schafer with the Fresno Police Department.
Those people inside are believed to be her parents.
Police say their daughter was at the home earlier and was upset with her parents.
Her parents are expected to survive.
Alarcon was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
