A wildfire is putting crews to the test in the mountains of Tulare County.
The fire broke out Friday in the Sequoia National Forest and has already charred some 1,700 hundred acres of brush.
The fire is about a 25% contained but strong winds on Monday could erase some of their progress.
More than 500 firefighters are tackling the fire from the air and from the ground.
Sequoia rangers are trying to warn hikers in the area to stay vigilant.
