Hundreds of people lined up outside the save mart center in Fresno Saturday morning for the opportunity to get passes to the October show featuring teen pop star, Justin Bieber.
Many of the best seats had already sold through presales that began on May 23rd, but that did not deter die-hard fans.
“My heart is beating so fast. I love him. I hope I get on stage. He will see me. I will be screaming loud. He will see me,” said Destiny Myrum, a Bieber fan.
The right to buy however was not structured on a first come, first serve basis. Everyone received a blue raffle ticket and was placed into a lottery system. It was good news for Joey who brought his girls all the way from Coalinga.
“We got here at 4:00 this morning. We were in the back, but we got lucky with this number, so we're up in the front,” said Joey.
Since 10 a.m., customers flooded Ticketmaster’s website. Many were taken to a screen telling them they were denied.
Kelsi Watson and Nicole Hopkins had the top lottery spot. What kind of seats did they score?
“We’re in the back behind the stage,” said Watson.
Not the greatest seats, but they're in the building, so the girls are not complaining.
“We’re good to go. We're stoked so now we're going to go home and take a nap,” said Watson.
The lengths we'll go to for our kids. In Joey's case, it meant spending $600 dollars on six tickets.
“But it's worth it. As long as she's happy, we're all happy,” said Watson.
The concert is no completely sold out. Ticketmaster is holding back some of its best seats for an auction, which start at $350 each.
Meanwhile on StubHub.com, there is a fairly large selection. We found the cheapest ticket in the upper level listed at $160. The most expensive single pass was for a spot on the floor going for an astounding $3,900.
