A local cemetery turns into a crime scene in the blink of an eye.

"He was a great friend whenever you needed a friend he was always there for you, he always had a great smile and always had positive things to say about everybody," according to one of the victim's friends.

A friend of the victim who doesn't want her identity revealed tells CBS47, 17-year old Huber Barron was a popular teenager who got along with everyone. Barron was with friends Sunday morning when investigators say a car drove up with several people inside. Shots were fired hitting Barron. The suspects are still out there.

"This type of incident shouldn't be happening and it's very sad that now the community has to come forward for another teenager who was taken this way," said Chris Douglas, Tulare County Sheriff's Office.

The day after the shooting Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba was filled with people who had heard what happened. Valerie Espinoza comes to visit her mom often and says this is supposed to be a peaceful place.

"Emotionally that's your only comfort and for that to happen here, wow, that's like no heart," said Espinoza

Investigators say the suspects drove off in a blue Chevrolet Impala, the victim died at the hospital. Friends say they don't know who would do this.

"I don't even know why people have such a cold heart to do this," said Victim's friend.

Investigators believe this is gang related but they're asking for the publics help. If you have any information, you're asked to call the Tulare County sheriff's department.
