One person is under arrest in connection with an armed robbery and attempted kidnapping.
The Fresno Sheriff's Department made the arrest in Parlier at an apartment complex on McCall Avenue west of Mendocino.
They searched a second home just north at Tuolumne and Whitner.
CBS47 was the only camera there when the suspect was taken into custody.
Deputies were at complex late into the night Wednesday night.
They arrested the man suspected of committing the crime.
Members of the sheriff's SWAT team made the arrest because the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
The activity brought people out of their homes. They lined the parking lot to watch.
“We just saw a lot of SWAT people. We left home and came here and saw all that,” said Gisele Rivas, who lives at the complex.
She and her friend had been across McCall Avenue earlier in the evening when the SWAT team searched a home on Tuolumne and Whitner.

“There was an armed robbery that occurred in the county just north of here several days ago,” said Sgt. Michael Chapman with the Fresno Sheriff’s Department.
