A chase and gunfire after a local burglary is interrupted.
Sheriff's Deputies say thieves were burglarizing a home off Kings Canyon near Sanger.
The homeowner's son drove by, saw a stranger at the home and barged in on the burglars.
He and another family member chased the suspects out of the house.
Chris Curtice of the Fresno County Sheriff's Department said
"there was a short chase a short vehicle chase during which the suspects stopped their car it's the white car in the road,
they then took off into a nearby orchard."
The family shot at the thieves but no one was hit.
One person believed to be one of the burglars was taken in for questioning.
Deputies searched the orchard, but did not find other suspects.
They are looking for one or two asian men in their late teens to early 20's.
