A fire broke out around 3:00 a.m. Monday morning at a commercial building in downtown Fresno.
The building houses the Potters Studio on R Street near Tulare Street.
Streets in the area were closed while crews put out the fire but re opened before 6:00 a.m.
A security guard was reportedly inside the building when the fire broke out but was able to get out safely.
Fire crews were able to knock the flames down quickly, keeping damage to the building around $20,000.
Investigators say the fire was caused by a waterbed heater.
