Investigators continue to try to piece together a bizarre overnight murder and officer involved shooting in Clovis.
Investigators have been working the scene all morning, walking up and down the street looking for evidence and talking to neighbors.
It started as a “shots fired” call around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning in the area of Eighth Street and Minnewawa Avenue in Clovis.
When officers arrived, they found a dead inside the house and then found another dead woman in the house directly across the street from that house.
Moments later, they spotted a man with a gun, acting erratic and waving the weapon around. He was shot by police officers and died a short time later at Community Regional Medical Center.
Neighbors tell CBS47 the women were both elderly and both lived with their sons but it’s not known who the shooter was.
