Officers are waiting to enter a burned out apartment in Modesto, where a suspect accused of killing a deputy and another man was holed up.
The violence began Thursday morning when a Stanislaus County Sheriff's Deputy and a locksmith were killed while attempting to server an eviction notice.
SWAT was called to the scene and a fire broke out at the apartment while they were standing by.
