A man is dead after being shot multiple times near this Fresno intersection.
The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. Saturday near Mayfair Drive South and Normal Avenue. Police say when they arrived they found a 23-year-old Hispanic male lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds.
According to Fresno Police the suspect(s) pulled up and stopped on the roadway just beyond the victim in a white or light grey, Chrysler 300. A unknown Hispanic male got out of the car and shot at the victim several times striking him at least twice. After the shooting the shooter got back in the car and sped off. The suspect is still at-large.
The victim was rushed to CRMC and pronounced dead around 2 a.m. According to gang associates the victim is a self-admitted Bulldog gang member and Fresno resident. Investigators are working to determine if this incident was gang related.
