A strong wind storm knocked down trees and power lines across the valley as it sweeped through Central California on Tuesday.
At one point, PG&E reported that more than 3,600 customers in Fresno County alone had lost power due to Tuesday's wind storm.
In West Central Fresno, a tree near McKinley Elementary School fell onto some power lines knocking out power to several hundred people in the area. Most of the power has been restored, a PG&E spokesman said.
As of Tuesday at 6pm, PG&E had 23 outages remaining with 468 customers without power.
The largest remaining outage is 243 customers near Selma, between Huntsman and Manning, and Indianola and Madsen, PG&E said in a statement. Some of those customers may be out until 7 p.m.
