Central Valley leaders are hoping President Obama's trip to
Fresno on Valentine's Day will make a difference with drought relief.

Congressman Jim Costa says getting more water into the system is
critical.

He wants to find out how the President plans to deal with the long term
challenges from the historic drought.

The congressman says the Valley has never seen conditions like this
before.

"This isn't a small issue that is impacting a small area of California but it
has national implications. Let's be clear about it. This is the driest year in
recorded history," said Costa.

There's no word yet on where the President will be touring while in Fresno.
