Two speeding cars crashed into each other and one of them ended up taking out a power pole.

The crash happened in Visalia just before noon near Goshen and Stevenson.

Power was knocked out to more than 100 homes nearby for several hours.

The two drivers involved are being treated for minor injuries.

"Once we arrived we found we had just two drivers. There was one driver in each vehicle. They were injured, they were both out of the vehicles prior to our arrival. We administered care and they were both transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center," said Darrin Hughes, Visalia Fire Deparment.

Power was knocked out in a three square block radius near the accident site.

Southern California Edison expected to have all the power restored by midnight.
