Hopeful job applicants lined up for a chance to work for Clovis unified Friday. It was the district's first job fair in 15 years.
Administrators needed the workers to to fill dozens of spots. They expected around 350 pre-registered applicants to interview for several teaching positions.
Part of this job fair was made possible by more funding from Governor Jerry Brown's recently proposed budget.
There's also a need for the district to lower the average class size in elementary schools.
Applicants were excited for the opportunity to work for the district.
