A Modesto man is hoping to return a priceless heirloom to it's rightful owners.
He found it while cleaning his home. It's a bible printed in 1885, making it almost 130 years old.
David Weaver flipped through the pages, and found some clues about the bible's original owner.
They were the Sleezer family from New York.
With the help of a local newspaper writer, Weaver is trying to find the family.
"I've got a couple of leads of descendants but we haven't been able to trace them back to the Sleezer that's in the bible," said Weaver.
Weaver said, if he can't find the owner a museum is eager to take the bible off his hands.
