Bethany Telles wrote "Waiting for James in a Sea of Pink". The book has been chosen as a finalist in an online competition at a website called "MeeGenius". If her book wins that competition, the school of her choice - Webster Elementary - will get a library full of e-books for the students.
Telles says: " So they will get, I'm assuming, hundreds and hundreds of e-books, just completely free for them to go onto their computers and read all they want. I would feel honored, I think. I loved going to Webster, it was such a small school, such a quiet school. Yet, there was so much life happening. It would mean a lot. The kids deserve it. They've fallen on hard times because of budget cuts. So, it would mean a lot to be able to give back to them."
