From a troubled website to losing existing coverage, we've all heard about problems with the rollout of the Affordable Care Act.
Starting today, Californians have a new resource for getting health insurance.
A new Covered California Call Center opened in Fresno Wednesday.
Executive Director Peter Lee told KSEE Sunrise viewers, "Our website has been working good since day one and is working really good today."
100 people at the center will also be taking phone calls from confused Californians needing help with getting health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
"if you have insurance through jobs or Medicare, you're in good shape," said Lee. Covered California is designed to help uninsured Californians.
The number to the call center is (800) 300-1506.
