Newt Gingrich spent Tuesday campaigning in the Valley.
The Republican Presidential hopeful ended his day in a North Fresno home for a private fundraiser.
The reception for Gingrich didn't come cheap, $1,000 per couple or 25- hundred dollars for a VIP meet and greet.
Hosting the event, Wendy Turner, daughter of former Secretary of State, Bill Jones.
She says about 50 people bought tickets to the reception alone.
"He can deliver from day one. He's the smartest man in the race and that's why we're behind him," said Wendy Turner, hosting the Gingrich fundraiser
Earlier in the day Gingrich spoke at the world's largest Ag Expo in Tulare.
