An abandoned home was heavily damaged by fire Monday night near Olive and Fresno Street in Fresno.
The fire was reported by neighbors around 11:00 p.m. on Clay Avenue.
Investigators are still looking at what sparked the fire.
Battalion Chief Jonathan Chew with the Fresno Fire Department said, "We have an abandoned 1500 square foot home, partial basement, We confirmed no one was inside and knocked the fire down."
The fire department is still is still investigating and estimating the cost of the damage.
