A Merced County corrections officer has been arrested on charges of selling drugs to a minor.
Deputies arrested 34 year-old Micha Justin Imler on charges of selling drugs to a minor on or near a school grounds.
Three other suspects were also arrested for charges ranging from selling drugs to willful harm or injury to a child and illegally transporting controlled substances.
The Sheriff's department says Imler won't get any special treatment.
"Our people are held to the same rules and laws and they are called even beyond that to live above repproach and so this case is being delth with just like any other case we would investigate and deal with," says Delrey Shelton from the Merced Sheriff's Department.
Officer Imler has been on the force for about five years.
Imler is on paid administrative leave pending a full investigation.
