Car owners had the opportunity to have their vehicle's emissions tested for free Saturday.
The Tune-In and Tune-Up event took place at the Fresno Fairgrounds.
Owners of vehicles that failed the smog test received a five-hundred dollar voucher for repairs.
"They come this morning wanting to know if their car is going to pass a smog check or fail a smog check. So they come with that hope that it it doesn't happen it reveals they're going to get a voucher," says Jose Marin a spokesperson for Valley Clean Air Now (CAN).
A car-care clinic and health and safety fair was also on-site.
More than five-hundred cars were tested in the event.
