A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a murder that happened last year.
25-year-old Michael Escalera was walking with his girlfriend when he was shot and killed last August.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Jefferson and Morro, near Lincoln and Del Rey in the town of Del Rey.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Department says a 17-year-old gang member from Fresno is responsible.
The teen, whose name has not been released, was arrested while being held at the Juvenile Justice Center for a separate drive-by shooting.
