The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an officer involved shooting in Huron.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an officer involved shooting in Huron.
The shooting occurred around 3:00 a.m. in the area of Cherry & Los Angeles.
A Huron police officer stopped the suspect on his bike but the suspect tried to flee and crashed a short distance away.
The officer chased the suspect on foot and reported the suspect pulled a handgun.
The officer fired multiple shot, killing the suspect.
The suspect’s handgun was recovered at the scene.
The identity of the suspect is not being released at this time other than he is a Hispanic male in his late 20’s from the City of Huron.
