Investigators say 25-year-old Jeremy Hudler, a registered sex offender, had child pornography on a laptop computer he was using at a Selma McDonalds, near Floral and Highway 99.
Detectives say Hudler would spend 10 to 15 hours a day at the McDonalds and much of that time was viewing and sharing the pornography over the internet.
Detectives served a search warrant at Hudler's home, just yards from Selma High School on Monday.
After learning the suspect was not home, deputies went to the nearby McDonalds where he was taken into custody.
Hudler is currently at the Fresno County Jail where he faces charges of possessing and distributing child pornography.
