The operation focused on parolees with gang affiliations.

"This is part of our strategies to continue to keep the community safe. One of the methodologies is gang sweep operations. We also do prevention and intervention," Parlier Police Chief David Serta said.
During today's sweep one parolee was found with a loaded stolen handgun and was taken into custody.
