Around one this Friday a fire broke out near southbound Interstate 5 in Castaic.
Also another wildfire that started Wednesday continues to burn in Frazier Park in Kern County.
And closer to home, a fire broke out west of Prather in Fresno County today.
About 70 firefighters tackled the blaze.
They cut fire breaks around homes and air tankers dropped fire retardant from above.
Crews managed to contain the blaze to 5 acres.
"As the fire approached, firefighters weren't able to gain access yet. The fire slowed down and went around their home, exactly as it is designed it really did help save their home today," Captain Ryan Michaels of Cal Fire said.
Firefighters will stay in the area overnight to mop-up any hotspots.
