After focusing on Fresno for three weeks, a team from I-B-M helped to find ways find ways to improve the city.
It was all part of the Smarter Cities Challenge, where the six member team worked with investors and city leaders to improve Fresno's technology.
Overall, the team said Fresno needs to take advantage of the resources surrounding the city.
"They encouraged us to take advantage of the production ag that's here. Connect that major industry with our up incoming software industry in Fresno, put the two together and you have the world's leading ag tech center," Mayor Ashley Swearengin said.
I-B-M also noted that in order to make this happen trading farm land for urbanization would not be ideal.
