Visalia man sentenced to life

Frank Nanez 21 of Visalia was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of 21 year old Angel Guzman. 

The DA’s office says back on July 31, 2009 Frank Nanez approached the residence of Angel Guzman who was talking with two other people. When Nanez pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the three victims. One of the shots hit Angel Guzman who at the hospital in Fresno.

The judge also sentenced Nanez to an additional 25 years to life for the use of a firearm during the murder and a consecutive 80 to life for the two counts of attempted murder.
