Fresno's Gateway Ice Center was slated to close on Wednesday but now it appears it will stay open until at least May 10th.
The ice center is located on Marks Avenue near West Clinton.
According to a statement from the Gateway Ice Center, the owners are currently in negotiations with central valley Ice Sports Foundation, a California non-profit corporation, to maintain the availability of an ice-sports facility in Fresno.
