(Joe Ybarra Reporting)
The annual Veterans Opportunity Day took place in Tulare on Wednesday but organizers say fewer vets show up each year.
The annual resource fair gave veterans a chance to find work and access to different services.
There were a lot of opportunities available for veterans in Tulare County, including hundreds of job openings, but organizers say it's getting harder to get people to show up.
Organizers say less people show up every year and this year was no exception, even though there were more job opportunities than before.
Just through the EDD alone, there were 500 job openings but only a couple hundred people showed up for that one too.
Organizers hope the trend changes and more people show up next year.
