Three suspected gang members are behind bars, accused of a shooting and trying to assault a police officer.
The men were arrested late last night in Southeast Fresno.
Officers responded to a call of several gunshots on South Adler and they tried to pull over the car then men were in at Chestnut and Lane.
The men reportedly rammed a patrol car and crashed into a fence near Fresno Pacific Univiersity.
The officers also found two handguns in the suspects car.
Investigators say the original gunshots were fired in rival gang territory.
