A man is under arrest after police say he was driving drunk when he slammed into two parked cars and flipped his own car.
It all happened near Tulare and Fourth Street around 6 p.m. Saturday.
When police arrived on scene, the suspected drunk driver tried to run off before they caught him.
Investigators say the outcome could have been much worse.
"The vehicles that he collided into were parked on the street and fortunately they were unoccupied. The actual owners of the vehicle were just returning home from a funeral, which adds on to the tragedy to the families," Sgt. Chris Serrano said.
No one was hurt in the crash.
Police say the 23-year-old driver had been arrested before.
