Three family members accused of helping a convicted rapist flee to Mexico during his trial will be in court on Wednesday.
They're accused of helping 20-year-old Spencer Scarber, who was caught south of the border last month.
Spencer's father, Kyle; mother, Gail; and her daughter, Crystal Reynoso are charged with harboring and aiding the convict.
Kyle Scarber is the assistant chief of the California Highway Patrol.
Kyle is also accused of filing a false police report. On December 12th, he reported his son was missing, claiming he may have been kidnapped and showed investigators some blood at the scene.
CBS47 will have a crew at the courtroom and will provide updates on later editions of the CBS47 News.
