There was another home invasion robbery involving marijuana in Fresno Thursday morning.
The home is located at Peach and Kaviland, between Church and Jensen Avenues.
Three suspects stormed the house; one of them had a shotgun.
Two adults and two children were at home at the time. One of the people was pistol whipped and had to be taken to the hospital.
There was also marijuana growing inside the house, which police believe led to the home invasion.
Lt. Burke Farrah with the Fresno Police Department said, "We believe that activity is what precipitated this crime. The robbers knew there was cash and drugs here and possibly weapons, and that’s exactly what they took. A handgun was taken in the robbery as well as cash and a quantity of marijuana."
Police are investigating to find out if the marijuana was being grown for legal medical purposes.
Meanwhile, police are looking for the suspect’s car, a gray 2000-2002 Mitsubishi Lancer.
Anyone with information should call the Fresno Police Department.
