Hundreds of applicants wanting to work in the snow this winter season and this would be David Illingworth's first job ever.

"Hopefully I can get something out of it, I'm pretty excited, they seem like they have a pretty cool program so yeah, it seems cool. Illingworth said.

And cool it will be.

Whether you're looking to be a ski instructor or food server, there are 400 positions that need to be filled.

"You ask anybody, there have been hundreds of thousands of people in the United States today that has spent one or more years in their college days or older at a ski resort. And I can tell you everybody remembers it, so working at a ski resort is a life experience,” Tom Cohee, China Peak owner said.

Leena Sakalova used to work at china peak 10 years ago and she agrees the experience was so great, she's back at the job fair trying to get an accounting position.

"I loved Sierra Summit when I worked there before, now called China Peak. I see many of the old faces of the supervisors and they're all great people and I'd really like to go back there and work again," Sakalova said.

Working at a ski resort like China Peak gives employees many benefits such as free skiing and snowboarding, something that attracts David if he gets his first time ever job opportunity.

"So far it's been good. Hopefully I'll get a job part time or full time, either one works for me,” Illingworth said.
