Twenty-six people were forced from their homes by a fire at a high-rise apartment building in downtown
The fire started just before
One man suffered burns. Another was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
The building’s sprinkler system stopped the fire from spreading.
But water damage from the fire made the apartments on three floors of the building uninhabitable.
The Red Cross assisted all 26 residents with temporary housing.
