One man is dead after being hit by a train in Downtown Fresno.
The accident happened around5:30PM at Inyo and G Streets
Witnesses say two trains were passing each other.
Two men were walking across the tracks.
One of the men was hit by the second train.
The crossing arms were apparently still down when the accident occurred.

“Anytime you’re going up against a train obviously, I would definitely advise to wait till the arms lift and walk across safely. Better spend two more minutes being safe than sorry later,” said Sgt. Eddie Barrios
The victim has not yet been identified.
Investigators say this does appear to be an accident.
