It started off as a crime spree that ended at Shields and
Suspected burglars crashed in front of the home of a camera specialist, Thursday afternoon.
A motorcylce officer caught and arrested one. The rest, took off.
Startling images provided exclusively to CBS 47 could help police catch the crew.
The video shows a blue Honda crashing into a curb.
Seconds later, two men and two women bolt out of the car... heading for the alley.
“They go running down the alley. Four of ‘em. Two of them went to try to hide in the neighbor’s house. They were hiding between the screen door and the wooden door,” said Macheen Shaughnessy.
Macheen Shaughnessy caught all angles of the action, on cameras he installed around his home.
Sixteen cameras.
“I have a monitor back there. I look up and see this car sideways. All of a sudden here comes the motorcycle cop. I was like… ugh oh here we go again,” he said.

Inside the car... laptops, purses, even family photos.
Police say the suspected thieves stole it all, and set up for a crime spree.
“We found the accurate plates for the vehicle inside the car. There's a different plate on the front and the third on the back. So we know they deliberately set up this car so it wouldn't be identified back to them,” said Lt. Burke Farrah of the Fresno Police Department
Shaughnessy says he installed his high-tech camera system to protect his home and the camera shop he operates inside.
Turns out he's catching the bad guys get in trouble.
“A couple of weeks ago we had an incident where they were chasing a car and it ended up actually in the same spot. Which and they had 25 PD on that one. I guess he wouldn't pull over,” Shaughnessy recalled.
The driver of the Honda wouldn't pull over either, until he had no choice.
