A Visalia couple is arraigned on murder charges Tuesday afternoon in Tulare County.  Jennifer Granberg and Christopher Harris, both 25, are believed to have killed Granberg's two-month-old baby, Alexander Xavier Frett.  He was found dead and burned with hot water inside a Visalia home on Sunday afternoon.

An obviously upset Christopher Harris is seen crying and placing an arm around his stomach during his arraignment in Tulare County's pre-trial facility.  Not guilty pleas were entered for both Harris and Granberg.  But while a public defender was appointed for Granberg, the public defender issued a conflict against representing Harris.

Harris's mother and aunt came to the arraignment, but did not want to speak to the media after it was over.

Visalia police found baby Alexander's body on Sunday afternoon at a home on the 800 block of N. Divisadero.  The couple and Granberg's baby had been living there just a few days with another couple.  CBS47 knocked on the apartment door, but no one inside would come out and talk.

CBS47 has learned Tulare County Child Protective Services has a record of baby Alexander and is working with the District Attorney, but would not release specific information.

The results of the autopsy will likely be available on Friday at the earliest.
