An armed robbery suspect who held Fresno police at bay for three hours is now in jail.
28-year-old Ignacio Lopez fell through the ceiling of the apartment where he'd been hiding.
Lopez hid in the attic of the apartment and refused to surrender.
His parents showed up to the apartment near Kings Canyon and Maple and made derogatory statements about the Fresno Police Department and Chief Jerry Dyer. "I'm thankful he ain't dead 'cuz that's what they do. That's what PD does. Jerry Dyer likes to kill Mexicans. If you're a Mexican, you're a Bulldog, so shoot the M**F**," said Lopez's father.
No one was hurt during the entire ordeal.
