Disturbing details have emerged about a recent murder-suicide in Fresno.

It's been confirmed the suspect had been drinking heavily the day he reportedly shot and killed his neighbor at the Bullard -West condo complex and then later took his own life outside a packed restaurant at River Park.

The Fresno County Coroner says the suspected shooter had twice the legal limit of alcohol allowed for driving in his system at the time of the tragedy.

74-year-old Daniel Anderson had a blood alcohol level of .17 when he is said to have shot his neighbor more than six times. "That's enough to give you an unsteady gate and blurred speech and affect your vision," said Fresno County Coroner Dr. Hadden.

Police say Anderson was upset over his neighbor's dog roaming in his yard. It had fueled a five year feud between the men. They got into a fight, went back into their homes and then police say Anderson came back out and shot his neighbor repeatedly.

Anderson then drove to River Park Shopping Center where he was cornered by police and took his own life in front of the busy Macaroni Grill Restaurant.
